HELI SKIING IN THE ALASKAN WILDERNESS

Wake up to heli skiing the stunning Tordrillo mountains of the Alaska range – this is one of the best areas of the world to see what spring skiing is all about, boasting a multitude of massive glaciers and couloirs. Each run consists of velvety corn snow with an average vertical of 3,000 feet. If conditions are right, you can even ski the midnight sun. A shock to the bodyclock but worth it all the same!

KING SALMON FISHING

With most skiing ending mid-afternoon, you’ve plenty of time to heli to the remote Yentna and Skwentna rivers to fish the famous King Salmon. The fish are consistent year after year, sometimes providing salmon up to 50lbs in weight! You also don’t need a subscription to ‘Angling Times’ as prior experience is not crucial and guides can assist with fishing techniques.
