Off Piste skiing in Japan

Off-piste skiing in Japan has exploded over the last few years.  Not least because of the insane amounts of snow that falls on a regular basis - making this a ski destination that has to be experienced to be believed!

We have a trip running in January as follows:-

Friday 18th – Saturday 26th January 2013

This trip is 7-day nomadic powder skiing adventure focused on experiencing the incredible light, deep powder that Japan is becoming increasingly renowned for. The ski touring adventure will take in a number of different ski areas, focusing on the best off piste skiing Japan has to offer.  You will be ski-touring most days, but the walking is all about maximising the ability to ski fresh tracks away from the crowds.  There would be a maximum of 8 guests with 2 guides.

Accommodation is in a string of local guest houses which offer basic but comfy traditional Japanese lodging, and which allows you to indulge in a little of the local Japanese culture.
