All of us wish for more time with our families and what could be better than sharing in your passion of skiing with your daughter or son. It’s no coincidence that Europe is now full of tiny, helmet-clad skiers coming towards you at a hurtling pace. This is all carefully plotted so that they grow up and can ski together as a family (however you can read this as: embarrassing their poor parents with their lightning speed and agility).

However heli ski and off piste experts Pure Powder are proud to host many skiers who can still show their children their off piste skills and enjoy such a memorable trip together. This March, we had a Father and Daughter duo staying at the beautiful CMH McBride lodge. Mr B was skiing with his daughter aged 20 (a first timer to CMH) amongst a group of friends.

CMH McBride is a stunning private lodge which can accommodate up to 10 guests, serviced by a Bell 212 helicopter and 2 guides. McBride guests heli ski in the Cariboo range famous for its rugged, steep terrain and well-spaced forests. Accommodation is in a luxurious private lodge complete with dining room, lounge with wood-burning fireplace, a massage room, and a whirlpool.

Mr B: We had a superb time. The Lodge works really well, the staff were lovely people to spend a week with, the food was magnificent, and the guides were extremely professional. In fact I’ll be meeting up with one of them in Switzerland in July….so I cannot fault the operation in any way. Miss B: CMH really was an experience of a life time. Every moment was thoroughly enjoyable and we were looked after by all the staff so well. The accommodation was so lovely and the environment and atmosphere created by \’the CMH family\’ working to make our stay so welcome was just amazing. The skiing was unbelievable, and just everything was amazing!
