Easy Accessible Town Based Lodge
Kootenay Lodge is situated in the sleepy town of Nakusp which is easily accessible from Kelowna. It is located at The Lodge at Arrow Lakes – a quirky, cool hotel, with large and comfortable rooms and the locals favourite restaurant. The hotel is a short drive from the natural hot springs which is always a welcome stop on the way home from a day in the mountains.
Powder Playground
Kootenay is known for its perfectly spaced glades, steep bowls and endless pillow lines. It is the perfect lodge for strong skiers who like a challenge and is a favourite for those with limited time off due to its shorter trips. Kootenay’s 1,155 sq km of skiable terrain is spread between the Selkirks and the Monashees ranges, and it sees an average annual snowfall of 18 metres.
