Endless backcountry to explore
Purcell Heli Skiing became part of CMH in 2021, after being successfully run by the Swiss Mountain Guide, Rudi Gertsch. It brings with it some new and exciting terrain to explore. There is a huge variety of terrain to ski in the Purcell and Selkirk Mountains, from wide alpine glaciers and gladed forests. With over 250 runs and 495,000 acres of backcountry to discover – you will want to experience what Purcell has to offer! With skiing only in 2 groups of 8 guests plus two guides, you will have more snow and more opportunities to ski more vertical.
Flexible Day Trips
CMH’s only day heli skiing option. It is the perfect option for people who are new to Heli Skiing and want to experience the heli-skiing world, but also a great option if you want to add on additional days of heli skiing, on top of your ski holiday or other CMH heli skiing trips. Offering only day 1, 2 or 3 day allows you the flexibility to stay and eat where you want, either in Banff, Lake Louise or Golden.
Purcell Day Lodge
The Purcell day lodge will be your base for the day. You will meet here in the mornings, and be fuelled with some breakfast snacks, before going out for the day. After your day out skiing in the backcountry, you will be invited back to the day lodge, where you will have a feast of food to enjoy for your post-ski apres. If you are staying in Kicking Horse, ask us about our heli pick up and drop off from Kicking Horse ski resort.
Experience heli skiing for the first time, or upgrade your resort skiing with a day (or more!) of heli skiing, one
day at a time.
