Obergurgl is one of Europe’s highest ski resorts and has gained a reputation as one of Austria’s most reliable resort for snow cover. It is quiet throughout the season with very few queues on the chair lifts and some decent mountain restaurants. It has 110km in runs throughout the resort and a 12 minute cable ride gives access to a further 54 km in runs at Hochgurgl.
Ski Training
We’ve teamed up with Method Scheiber – one of the most experienced ski coaches around – to provide tailored ski technique training to rapidly improve your skiing. Method’s brother is a heli ski guide and so he focuses on getting you ready for the powder, with training both on the hard pack and off piste where possible.
Accommodation & Transfers
We can build your trip using your choice of hotel but we usually recommend Hotel Gurglhof and Hotel Alpenblick both of which are very central and offer all the amenities you would wish for. Ans, with Obergugl only 90 minutes from Innsbruck Airport, we can arrange speedy transfers to and from the resort.
